In a country where there is no freedom of speech, where people are killed for speaking, for a single chant, how can you claim to hear “the people’s voice”? People are afraid to talk.

@nargesfnd is imprisoned, she’s just been sentenced to 7 years in prison and 2 years in exile!
Children and students are arrested. Executions happen in silence. Today, Ali Heydary, 20, was executed. Two hundred students were killed, one of them Taha Kooshyar, a 12 year old, who got shot to his face.
Thousands upon thousands of civilians have been killed.
This is not about the economy. This is about human dignity, fear, and survival. People of iran are fighting for freedom and shame on you for degrading their dignity, stealing their agency and denying their right to fight for freedom.
A real journalist would know that voices under repression cannot speak freely. This is not journalism, this amplification of the regime’s propaganda. Search
