For this #screenshotsaturda a new video. Showing the movement of the #pirate to go to work and fulfil their needs. Of course, with a little bug on the end 😉 #cthulhu #steampunk #gamedev #indiegamedev #godotengine #gaming #indiegame #gamedevelopment #indiedev @godotengine

Last week was Board Game-Saturday… this week it's #ScreenshotSaturday again. Still not sure about the final art style – but I kind of like the new ship. Your thoughts? #IndieGameDev #IndieGame #gamedevelopment #gamedev #indiedev #Godot #Pirate #cthulhu #steampunk

Not being on holiday doesn't mean only being able to work on the project daily – you also need to remember where you left your work 😆 Rework the Character-Overview and assign the worker to buildings. #IndieGameDev #IndieGame #gamedevelopment #gamedev #indiedev #Godot #Pirate

As promised, a new video with lots of new kerfuffle to show. Besides the first characters, I've added a bunch of info panels. NPC-, Minion-List and a room info panel. In the moment, just text, but…#IndieGame #gamedevelopment #gamedev #indiedev #Godot #Pirate #cthulhu #steampunk

Introducing the first 6 rooms in the game. You can already see where we are aiming, but at this moment, I'm not sure if it should be possible to build multiple rooms at once in one house. #IndieGameDev #IndieGame #gamedevelopment #gamedev #indiedev #Godot #Pirate #cthulhu

It was close, but more people voted for pixel art rather than comic style. I updated my tile-sets and added some options before recreating the world, and made everything more snazzy.#IndieGameDev #IndieGame #gamedevelopment #gamedev #indiedev #Godot #Pirate #cthulhu #steampunk

Still pondering the style of the game. What do you think, A (Pixelart) or B (Comic)? #IndieGameDev #IndieGame #gamedevelopment #gamedev #indiedev #Godot #Pirate #cthulhu #steampunk

The game was initially just an idea to show someone how to code, but as I started to like the concept and wanted to commit to it. But it is time to choose a style. I like to work with art from @craftpix_net , but it's a step away from the art that was intended at first.

So, that was quite a journey! It's still not perfect, but you can now drag, scroll and zoom into the scene. The problem was the water shader and its positioning. #IndieGameDev #IndieGame #gamedevelopment #gamedev #indiedev #Godot #Pirate #cthulhu #steampunk

Needed to rearrange the scenes and nodes to implement camera movement. I used this situation to rework the environment. So we now have a moon, some snazzy new clouds, a day-night cycle and a #FunnyBug #IndieGameDev #IndieGame #gamedev #indiedev #Godot #Pirate #cthulhu #steampunk

So… ramble on with the building process. I've switched to some bigger rooms and give the 'highrise' a more housish look. Not quite sure about the graphic style, but we'll get there.#ScreenshotSaturday #IndieGameDev #IndieGame #gamedev #indiedev #Godot #Pirate #cthulhu #steampunk

Well, yesterday was a `depression day`, and today there was a lot to refactor, because of some struggles with the click events. So I needed to change the room-place management to a state machine. #IndieGameDev #IndieGame #gamedevelopment #indiedev #Godot #Pirate #Cthulhu

It's been a while… and maybe I will tell the story behind all the kerfuffle. But, we're back. For reasons, I've decided to switch to the pirate game. #IndieGameDev #IndieGame #gamedevelopment #gamedev #indiedev #Godot #Pirate #cthulhu #steampunk

After rewatching the concept and some settled changes, I implemented the 'build a room' process. Well, not the entire room, but a frame in a certain quality. This will define the next steps of placing interiors that require a corresponding grade.

Tomorrow, there will be some shader work to do to visualise the process of the build, and of course, you will need to spend the resources. I'm also considering an outer frame for the rooms to give them a more or less house-like look.

Another 'That went in an absolutely different way than planned' Day – but instead of 'mounting the weapons, I've overhauled the garage to give a better overview of the parts of the ship. #IndieGameDev #IndieGame #gamedevelopment #gamedev #indiedev #Godot
