HMPPS provides unique career opportunities to reduce reoffending and protect the public.
I am proud of our dedicated prison officers and their incredible canine partners who ensure the safety of our establishments. This is a testament to the skill and commitment of our team.
🐶For many this is a dream job - working with their dogs.
We have over 800 dogs who work alongside their humans to keep prisons safe.
It's one of the specialist careers available for qualified Prison Officers.
