Another book by Danna Staaf! I have asked her a bunch of questions about squid eggs and baby squid, and she had amazing insights to share. I can’t wait to find out what she has to share about other babies!
My next science book for adults is about...babies! I'm completely heart-eyed over this cover 😍😍😍 @lazaroillustrat knocked it out of the park--nay, into the stratosphere. Coming May 2023, available for pre-order now!

Anyone out there have a resource for finding out the correct way to pronounce scientific names? My next book has a whole bunch of amazing fungi and I want their scientific names to be approachable for young readers. #AdventuresInNonfictionWriting
