An Aerial shot of West Ardsley taken this morning. This is our last bit of green, soon to be a @redrow estate. Big old urban sprawl, country roads that can't take the traffic. It's too sad. @mikeyrro took this stunning photo

Help Save Samlesbury Action Group stop this harmful development on our farmland in the Green Belt. It is not justified. Other housing sites exist in South Ribble. Wildlife habitat would be destroyed and rural landscapes ruined. Not at all sustainable.

Help us stop this unwanted destruction of our farmland and countryside, and wildlife habitats, please sign petition.parliament.uk/petitβ¦
Yes, independents who were elected at the time then conservative but labourβ¦ no, they voted it into the plan despite so much oppositionβ¦ I mean, 3,500 locals canβt be wrong β¦ but we were all treated like we are.
Relax planning to convert land to farms? Make farms more productive? Canβt believe I am reading this! We are losing up to 30sqkm of productive Grade1 land in the South alone to housing because Govt have pushed 29% housing numbers into our region, & we just canβt stop this loss.
