Hundreds of teddy bears became a symbolic requiem to the children's lives interrupted by Russian aggression. In the heart of the American capital, near the Washington Monument, activists created an impressive installation where each teddy bears the name of a child taken by war.

Let's face it, Ukraine's largest power station being permanently disabled is really bad. We are witnessing the failure of the appeasers and escalation managers' strategy in Ukraine. Not providing Ukraine with the means to disable Russian launchers was never sustainable. 1/3

I am in shock. 💔 Two friends were murdered by Russia in Odesa this morning. They went to help after the first missile attack & the second missile hit. This is my brother Sergiy—deputy mayor & hero to Odesa. He welcomed me like family in early days of invasion & helped feed hundreds of thousands. He kept me safe along with our brother Alex here, who was also killed. Every single day, they never stopped helping Ukraine. I am so heartbroken & angry. We have lost too many incredible people. And we are not doing enough to stop Russia. Ukraine must win, it is the only way. 🇺🇦

I was proud to host President Zelenskyy at the White House where I reaffirmed that the United States’ support for Ukraine is unshakeable. Congress must pass supplemental funding for Ukraine. This is about freedom for Ukraine – and freedom everywhere.

«Оскільки там діє сухий закон, Вікторія замовила безалкогольне пиво. Серхіо наповнив мою склянку чимось схожим на яблучний сік. Вікторія глянула на мою склянку: “Схоже на віскі”, – сказала вона. У той момент на нас впав Іскандер, впало пекло, з неба» tyzhden.ua/dim-na-nebi/

In 2018, I wrote an article. This young Tajik Ukrainian man wrote a crushing critique of it. I wrote to him. He wrote back. He was brilliant. We stayed in touch. For the last 9 months he wasn’t responding. Rest in peace, Bizhan! You were the best. #StandWithUkraine #RIP
Bizhan Sharopov, a young PhD neurobiologist and professor at the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, gave his life for humanity’s highest value - Freedom. After the full-scale war started, he went to defend our country. Bizhan was reported missing last April. A DNA test confirmed his death.

The @NHL has sunk to rock bottom! Letting Ovechkin's son perform on the ice at the NHL All-Star is spitting in the face of approximately 500 killed, thousands injured and tens of thousands of kidnapped Ukrainian children. The NHL and Gary Bettman must pay for this heinous act!

More almost than any other time of my lifetime, I do feel that in Ukraine we really are dealing with a situation in which, “I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that I have set before thee life and death, the blessing and the curse; therefore choose life.”
Two friends Olha Usova and Irina Salamatenko killed in Dnipro by Russian X22 missile. Excellent doctors, volunteers, Irina has two children, Olya has a little son. There’s only one way to fight terrorists. And we all know what it is.
