I don't think people realize just how much @HallidayHQ solves the fragmentation of commerce, liquidity, and markets. So much more to come.

Let's go @BlockchainAssn!
Good morning from Washington. 🇺🇸 The room is filling up as @BlockchainAssn members gather for this morning’s #CLARITYAct briefing before caravaning to Capitol Hill. Today, our members will meet with 52 Senate offices to make the case for clear market structure rules that protect consumers and keep America at the forefront of innovation. 🇺🇸 Thanks to @SummerMersinger @lindsayfraser0 @_EllieSmall_ @Advocate4Web3 @SophiaCookDC @Jeremy_Epner and every member showing up today. Let’s get to work.

Gosh, wonder if Market Structure legislation would help here.
Oh? There’s competition in the market finally you say?

1 to this. Isn't the fact that I and others work in crypto a huge signal of how much we believe? Any of us could make materially more $$ working in other industries (banking, brokerage, hedge fund, insurance, etc.). We chose crypto because it is transformative.
Of course we included members from our 100 companies with law enforcement and prosecutorial backgrounds – and we clearly identified (page 2) those signatories as Blockchain Association members. What your search omits are their backgrounds and credentials, which are exactly what make them relevant advocates and signatories on this letter…perhaps unknowingly, you’re discounting their experience and service to our country with your oversimplification below. It’s a good thing that crypto companies hire former law enforcement, prosecutors, and national security professionals. It shows they take compliance, consumer protection, and security seriously.

I am really proud to have signed onto this letter from the @BlockchainAssn. I brought AML and sanctions enforcement actions when I served in government. The protections in the Clarity Act are robust. It's time to pass market structure - in the interest of national security and consumer protection.
160 is a big number. This letter makes two clear points: 1) law enforcement and national security is a top priority for the crypto industry. 2) The reason the U.S. is the innovation capital of the world is because policymakers chose to protect developers over the last 50 years. That must continue with this new technology for America to keep its lead.

This is going to be a really cool event hosted by @Vault__Summit and @Morpho at the @NYSE. I will be moderating a panel on vault infrastructure and distribution, with some of the industry's best. @HallidayHQ puts capital to work.
A unified orchestration system, enabling developers and users to put capital to work across chains, liquidity venues, and asset classes. @AndrewJacobson_, General Counsel at @HallidayHQ, will take the stage at Vault Summit NYC. June 5, New York · nyc.vaultsummit.xyz

Onboarding flows lose >50% of users to a fragmented, confusing user experience. Swap on one site. Bridge on another. Ramp on a third. Log into your exchange. Give up. Halliday fixes this with a unified product optimized for conversion ↓

And I won't apologize.
I accidentally opened a marketing email from my lawyer and he billed me $50.

It was a tremendous outcome. And the work doesn't stop. Let's get it done.
Today Rs and Ds on Senate Banking did impressive work for the American people. Thank you. CLARITY moves on.

If this happens, it will be an outrageous outcome. Sacrificing a full and complete market structure for crypto. And prosecutors can still bring unlicensed money transmission charges (along with money laundering, sanctions, etc) - the Clarity Act just clarifies what money transmission is!
Having trouble comprehending the magnitude of how bad a deal for Americans it will be to get no federal consumer protection regulator of crypto exchanges in exchange for preserving discretion of prosecutors to bring trumped up charges against software publishers.

This will be a seminal speech, because it covered the key aspects of defi and tradfi market convergence. Let's put it into rules and let's get Clarity done to round it out. We will look back in 10 years and this will be the inflection point.
The SEC’s optimistic vision of both AI and blockchains is on full display in this speech. They’ve also laid out a roadmap for bringing tokenized securities onchain and unleashing the power of DeFi. Big things ahead.

It was a tremendous speech. There is so much in here that would be immensely valuable for integrating defi and tradfi markets. This will lead to true convergence.

Pretty ruthless dig at @HallidayHQ SF Office (I'm in the BK office...)
Some people really saw this and said “let me go build agentic workflows in Palo Alto”
