Absolutely concur with Beryl! Any variety of corn preferred for our family from the local Simpson’s Corn Stand in Dufferin County. Supporting hard working local farmers whose tireless efforts support the food needs of our communities. Corn as side dish to dinner again tonight!
Great picture, Beryl. Do you have a preference for type of corn? Peaches and Cream? Golden Nugget?

My mother, Fatma Zakaria, passed away last night at 85. She lived a long, rich, eventful life, with children and grandchildren whom she adored. She loved this photograph.

One year ago, at Anne Frank House in Amsterdam. Present and aware of the immense gravity of this place. Everything that this place represents in human history and the narrative of the Frank family. Profoundly moved-reaffirms commitment to the primacy of human rights and freedoms.
One year ago, we’re in Europe. At Juno Beach and Vimy Memorial. Truly powerful moments-remembrance, sacrifice, abundant gratitude. Reflecting on grief, loss, trauma affecting many, so that we may enjoy fundamental freedoms. Work in progress-many do not share this privilege.

Lest we forget. We will remember them.
Today we pay tribute to the people whose contribution and sacrifice helped pave the way for human rights in Canada. We remember, and we continue to work towards a society that includes everyone. #RemembranceDay
I often spend some of my best thinking time reflecting about leadership while hiking. As I stood at the bottom of those stairs, I thought of the team, all of those serving on the front lines of our education sector. One foot in front of the other. One step at a time. We got this.

Where does learning and living with purpose happen? Here. It happens here. Hockley Valley Provincial Park and Nature Reserve. It happens when we walk with determination and dedication and open ourselves up to all of the possibilities that nature offers us.

A sad loss of a television legend. I grew up with Alex Trebek in my living room. Condolences to all impacted by his loss.

It’s a good day.
Today is a good day. It’s easier to be a parent this morning. Character MATTERS. Being a good person MATTERS. This is a big deal. It’s easy to do it the cheap way and get away with stuff — but it comes back around. Today is a good day. #PresidentBiden #VotersDecided
