ANSWER: Not everything occurring down there is a hemorrhoid. See a colorectal surgeon quickly as other more serious conditions may be causing the pain.

Agree its important. However, in my experience this is not the reality. Unfortunately, it is much more difficult to publish papers showing a device/technique has no benefit. As good as the paper may be positivity bias is all around us, no P = no publication
