I love the classic ABC scene from Glengarry Glen Ross: Always Be Closing. I might like this better. At least for investing. At the #Berkshire AM, Greg Abel said "We hate the ABCs of business. Arrogance, Bureaucracy, Complacency." A good start for the new $BRK.B team.

Very much enjoyed returning to @MotleyFoolMoney to unpack investing during market downturns, energy's cost impact, and the status of the AI trade. And @TravisHoium then tests @louwhiteman and me on our market history. See how you do by playing along. fool.com/podcasts/motley-foo…

Very insightful thoughts from @ReneSellmann on the non-homogenous software market. And importantly how as investors we can frame-up the analysis as we are digging into the structural impacts both positive and negative on companies. Thanks Rene!

Looking for deeper insights on what drives Jensen Huang of Nvidia? I learned a ton in a fun convo with author @stephenwitt. Stephen lays out why Jensen can’t quit anytime soon and how $NVDA separates from the pack. Find our @themotleyfool chat here: fool.com/podcasts/motley-foo…

In a historic week in investing (for the wrong reasons), it was an incredible opportunity to chat with @LizAnnSonders for our Fool Market Playbook event. We clipped part of our conversation for our @MotleyFoolMoney show: fool.com/podcasts/motley-foo…. (20 min mark) Thank you Liz Ann!

I’m diggin’ the blue highlights of the can. And the taste for a non alcoholic is dang close to a full-leaded Guinness. As a fan and long-term $DEO shareowner, well done @GuinnessIreland @DiageoIreland

Great chart from @LizAnnSonders. Assuming most of those above the 200 MDA are in larger cap tech. More evidence that we're seeing the concentration of returns/excitement there this year.
Just one example, but given so much focus on Tech these days: 7 months from market’s October low, but only 61% of members in Tech are above 200d moving average (blue) … back in 2009 (orange), 7 months after March low, virtually all Tech members were above 200d moving average

Nice to hear a more balanced perspective, if not contrarian, to markets/stocks from Jim Paulsen @LeutholdGroup on @BloombergRadio this morning. Cash is earning more but there could be unexpected upside to stocks in a market that is not the same as the Volcker ‘80s.

S&P ‘22 op EPS estimates at $238 puts the multiple at a 15.6x multiple. VIX above 30. Attractive but still not to the point to start dropping cash positions < 10%. Especially with yields on cash worth something for the first time in a decade.

There are about 35 companies that generate > $100B in revenues per year. It won't be long until Apple crosses that mark in annual free cash flow. Real free cash flow. $AAPL

Brilliant leadership from Lego as it strives to make all its bricks more green, and I don’t mean the color. From the @FT on.ft.com/2STAemK

“Investors hate uncertainty” is right up there with “buy low sell high” in useless advice for stock investors. That near-term uncertainty can be our long-term friend with the right approach and mind set. Namely patient, high-quality business investing.

LT Treasuries took it hard on the chin in Q1 taking growth stocks down with them. If I had to bet on which one outperforms over the next 5 years I’m putting my chips on stocks — but also demanding the returns for the volatility. Thanks ⁦@FT⁩ for the graphic.

Pinterest biz model catching up to its product quality. Q4 Revs 76% w/ 145% in Intl. Rev per user a bit slower 29% with 37% more users joining during the quarter. Ad innovations and shopping driving the results. Very good quarter from a very good company. $PINS

Netflix had a boomin' quarter in Asia that contributed nearly half its total paid member adds, w/ APAC revs 66%. But still makes 2/3 per member there than in US. Lots of potential but "We still have much work to do" as they wrote in the Q3 letter. $NFLX
