I keep saying this. It's time for the Federal Government to declare them a terrorist organisation, and that to be a member is a terrorist offence, bringing with it the consequences.

This is horrifying. I said it in the Parliament and I'll say it here. Male violence against women is a mens' problem. It starts in the home, progresses through sports clubs and into society. Police are known to circle the wagons to protect their own when they are the purpetrator.

I've long advocated for all neo-nazi groups to be listed as terrorist organisations, and for membership of them to be a terrorist offence. The racism, the ideals they represent have no place in our society.

Just to be clear to the "I don't agree with them, but they have a right to say/believe/rally about it. That's free speech" brigade. No-one has the right to spew hatred and these guys have a history of hatred and violence. Screw them, they deserve everything that comes their way.

So. On one side a group of people who are clearly dangerous. They cheered as one of their speakers lionised the man who murdered two police officers. They were guarded with soft touch by Vicpol. On the other, people standing against racism. Heavily armed officers ready to attack.
