I’ll never forget being on holiday in Portugal when my son’s tics were loud and relentless. The stares from other customers were brutal. But when we explained to the staff that he has Tourette’s, the guy serving us smiled and said, “Do you know the streamer with Tourette’s? Sweet Anita? I watch her. I know all about Tourette’s. People with Tourette’s are welcome here.”
We went back for coffee every single day after that. Education changes lives. You’re doing amazing.
