Macron just released the receipts. May 10, 2025. Video footage shows Macron calling Trump from Kyiv to inform him that Zelenskyy accepted the 30-day ceasefire proposal. Trump responded enthusiastically. The European leaders and Ukraine were aligned. The deal was ready. Putin never agreed. The ceasefire never happened. Russia was the obstacle. Trump knew. And yet for months, Trump has blamed Zelenskyy. Blamed Ukraine. Portrayed himself as the dealmaker who could end the war if only Kyiv would stop fighting. The video shows the opposite. Ukraine said yes. Russia said no. Why lie? Because the truth destroys the narrative. Trump cannot be the strongman who will force peace if the problem is Putin.
