I just finished watching Peter Obi’s 1 hour 23-minute interview with Rufai, and I did so with a completely open mind. He’s not my party’s candidate, but I sat down to hear the plan. There was no plan. Just a man with nice wishes and an empty file where the strategy should be. Every time Rufai pressed him with, “How will you fix power, education, insecurity?” Obi reached for the same convenient answer: “Don’t worry, I’ll do it. I did it in Anambra.” That’s not an answer; that’s a slogan. Running 200 million people is not Anambra. And “trust me bro” can never be a strategy to enhance power or to fight insecurity. And let’s retire this Anambra myth once and for all. The issues burning across Nigeria today, for example, mass insecurity, multidimensional poverty, a broken power grid, a currency in freefall, a debt trap, and so on, are crises that were never under his jurisdiction as governor. As such, he cannot claim antecedents as proof that he can solve them. You don’t get to wave away a problem you never faced as proof that you’ve already conquered it. That’s not experience. That’s storytelling. My takeaway is simple, Peter Obi can describe the Nigeria he wants to see. What he failed to demonstrate in this interview is that he has a credible, detailed, and executable pathway to get us there. If this is what the NDC is offering Nigeria in 2027, then the NDC and the Obidient movement have a candidate who can describe the destination but cannot drive the car. A destination without a map is not a plan. It is a wish.

“Those who don't like me are those who don't like a better future for Nigeria." Sounds familiar? Again, whatever you hear Obidients regurgitate here didn't start with them. It’s the same line of reasoning all the way up. The very reason you see people blocking family and friends who don't support him, brainwashed that they're "a threat to their life" or that they "don't want a better Nigeria." Children starving aged parents, long time friends ending relationships. Crazy. 💔 I genuinely can't wait for this entire sect to exit the political conversation. Hopefully by 2035.
Those who don’t like me are those who don’t like a better future for the people of Nigeria. - Peter Obi

A leader should be an able to answer how and what they can do differently.. No sir, you can’t criticize all government policies and not give solutions to them.. It’s very obvious you don’t want people to vote you that is why you want to keep your plans to your chest, it’s not a secret affair, we want to know what you’re going to do differently.. I watched the podcast with Rufai, it wasn’t inspiring!

I get why people would think so but while the balls used in this world Cup have an electric element, there is no microphone inside them. Those kick sounds you hear at home come from a plethora of directional shotgun microphones positioned around the pitch, and tracking action using ball tracking data and filtering out the crowd. That said, the ball in use actually has some awesome tech. The 2026 World Cup ball is the Adidas Trionda, Spanish for "three waves," which is a poetic nod to hosts Canada, Mexico and the United States. Inside one of its four panels, there is a motion sensor that records the ball's position, acceleration, spin and every single touch 500 times per second. That data collected for streams wirelessly and in real time to the VAR room, where it combines with optical tracking cameras to build a live digital model of the match. It can detect the exact moment a boot touches the ball, which makes it decisive for tight offside and handball calls. And it works in practice. In Sweden's win over Tunisia, a goal was flagged offside. VAR overturned it using data from inside the ball, which registered a slight flick by Alexander Isak that changed the entire offside calculation. The sensor caught a touch the human eye missed. And you would be shocked to find out that because it houses active electronics, the ball has to be charged before matches. FIFA keeps several charged and ready around the pitch. My name is Ajoje. Does the World Cup ball have a microphone inside? I can hear every kick

Honestly, if I were on his team, I’d advise him to stop granting interviews. He already has a solid fan base. Just stay mysterious. At that point, people can project whatever they want on you, whether you're brilliant or not, nobody really knows. But the more interviews you grant, the more you reveal yourself, and honestly, it’s not a good look. Buhari had an incredibly loyal support base. He remained largely mysterious and rode that wave. Nobody really knew whether he had substance or not until he got into office. To his supporters, he was simply the Buhari they loved and believed would end corruption. And he had the steeze and aura to sustain that image. Sometimes, mystery is an asset. The less people know, the easier it is for them to fill in the gaps with their own expectations.

You are asking for the CV of a Major General? How do you think he became a General in the first place? Let's even set aside the fact that he has a Master's degree. Do you know how many military and leadership courses one must attend and pass before even becoming a Colonel? But here you are asking for the CV of a Major General. Anyway, I don't make a habit of spoon-feeding adults on the internet. Google is free.
Buhari. Show me his CV.

You don’t even know your lord and savior. He was never a Bank director, he was a bank Chairman. One requires banking knowledge and experience, the other requires a vote by shareholders. For all but one of the banks he was a Chairman of, they are all dead. The only surviving one is Fidelity, and he was more of a Snake that walked on that mountain, he left no mark. He doesn’t have Ivy League grad school degrees, he attended Ivy League executives training which requires no form of serious qualifications to get into. He was not a SEC Director, he was a SEC Chairman. It was a political appointment he was obviously not qualified for seeing as he doesn’t have any training or experience in securities, we know why Jonathan gave it to him. During his 2 terms as Governor, he didn’t make any remarkable or worthy of note POLICIES to the improvement of the financial position of the state. We have heard your lord and savior talk enough to know that he doesn’t know jack about finance, however, I do commend his knowledge of trading and prudence.
a young and energetic finance practitioner of less than 10 years experience believes she understands governance and macro economics more than a former 2 term state governor, multiple global ivy league business school graduate, multiple bank director, SEC director, former finance advisor to the presidency, all of these outside his personal business. whatever is driving you is insane.🙂
