Liquid will continue to never win LANs as long as they don’t have Stewie. Stewie made Elige into a contender for the best player in the world. The IEM Dallas 2024 lower bracket final was a message to Liquid of who the main character is.

In case anyone thinks Vitality clears TL 2019, they made 9 LAN finals in a row, and made the finals of 10 out of 11 of the tournaments they attended in the first season of 2019. Not all as high quality, but still impressive given we know Vitality's finals streak was snapped at 7.

Truth nuke: mezii doesn’t have enough cultural impact to make his home crowd ride with him from beginning to end. Not everyone can be a Stewie2K, who dwarfs even other stars like Niko and Monesy to the point where a fanbase adopted a team for a tournament, just for him.

NRG should sign Elige and stew. Then when Liquid decides to complete the betrayal of NA, they can get NAF and Twistzz to recreate the highest firepower team of all time. Zywoo and Apex still have nightmares from that Cologne 2019 final.
