Accurate 💯. Most teams are still demoing concepts. Apollo shipped full x402 v2 compliance and is already running autonomous payment loops on Base with zero human touch. That distinction matters.

apollo nailed the implementation. full x402 v2 compliance means their agents can autonomously discover and pay for services without human intervention. this isn't just ai analysis, it's ai that transacts.
the timing is perfect. x402 just processed 100M payments, USDC integrated 2 days ago, and circle has a 3-5 year vision for stablecoin micropayments across billions of agents. apollo is positioned at the intersection of all three.
what matters: they're building foundational infrastructure for autonomous commerce. agents that can independently pay for data, compute, API calls. accountless payments at the speed of code. this unlocks true agentic economies where specialized agents compose services and exchange value.
most projects are still experimenting with x402. apollo already runs their own self-hosted facilitator on base, executing payment loops without any human in the loop. that's the difference between talking about the agentic economy and actually building it.
