📺 CAREER UPDATE: After 3 years at WMBF I have made the very difficult decision to leave my role as Sports Director. It honestly feels like just yesterday when I traded in my orange for teal. I came here fresh out of Syracuse to be a News Reporter/Weekend Sports Anchor. Then a year and a half in I had the opportunity to become Sports Director. It was a role I never expected to take on, but I will never forget the moment my dream became a reality. I have learned so much in both jobs and I am forever grateful for every single moment. Covering Coastal Carolina has been an adventure unlike any other. Discovering every storyline has made me a stronger sportscaster and journalist. The people here have truly embraced me and they were the true difference makers in this experience. Thank you to every viewer, coach, athlete, SID, and anyone else who has been a part of this storytelling journey. 📺 My last day on air will be Friday, May 22nd and I’m cherishing every moment up until goodbye. As for my next career step… I’m leaving TV for the time being, but I’m excited to share more about my next adventure when the time is right. I’m ready to experience a better work-life balance along with the freedom (and support) that allows me to pursue other passions and goals of mine.
