#FableBan is going to be a deterent in a world that has committed to #AI adoption. There will be a market for pro-baked LLMs hosted in locked-down local infrastructure.

As a result of a US government directive, we are suspending access to Claude Fable 5 for all users. You can continue to use all other Claude models.
Here’s what this means for you:
Across Claude products, new sessions will run on your selected default model or Opus 4.8, and existing Fable 5 sessions will end with an error.
On the Claude Platform, requests to Fable 5 will also return an error. Please update your integrations to other Claude models.

Spent parts of the evening to build a prototype for the next day all from my Phone via whatsapp.

What an excellent release Hermes Desktop turned out to be.
Objectively, I think we're at a point now where all Hermes has to do is solve the frontend / design problem and they instantly own a large share of the Dev market. 🤔

Everybody chiming in on Pete's note regarding loops. One common line of thinking is that this will generate slop and waste tokens.
It IS guaranteed to generate slop and waste tokens if you don't have your house in order.
If you are going to try it, then make sure you've got your coding standards, style guides and PR workflows under control, you COULD benefit still from this; by how much, I don't really know.

Perfect for quick creative tasks - that’s why I decided to make it my daily driver.

Loved it when I was coming up, but after I've installed something like forgecode and codex and claude code having a mode for power users, I haven't used it in weeks.
