The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment and Cavalry Band have passed their rigorous annual inspection. Their first big job will be providing the Sovereign’s Escort at the State Opening of Parliament next week.

The Chief of Staff of the Irish Defence Force, Lieutenant General Rossa Mulcahy, visited MOD for talks today with our CDS. His party was greeted by proud soldiers from the Irish Guards with their Irish Wolfhound Regimental Mascot Turlough Mor (Seamus) and Handler.

The Honourable Artillery Company presented an immaculate Guard of Honour at the Guildhall for the arrival of the President of Germany for a Banquet hosted by the Lady Mayor of London. HRH The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence were guests at the glittering event.
