Armchair CEO...Rivian needs more brand recognition. It has improved but comparing to Tesla pre-model 3, the hype was real and R2 doesn't feel the same. Lots of normies I talk to still don't know a cheaper/smaller Rivian is coming.

After a family camping trip this weekend, I've decided I'm sticking with a R1T. I'm skeptical the R2 could handle all the crap we hauled to the site. It'd need a roof box and hitch rack to keep up with what I fit into the T. Didn't verify these but double is significant...

2 years coming up on my R1T lease. I’m feeling I’m going to want another T when year 3 comes. It’s such a great machine. If Rivian can keep improving it..ie. 800v, steer by wire, v2g/h, suspension…it’ll be god tier. I hope they never axe it. Don’t think an R2 could compare.

I'm looking for a used set of Rivian crossbars and eBay is flooded with Chinese knockoffs. Buyer beware if you are buying used/new from anyone. These look pretty close to OEM stuff.

This week alone I got 2 people say they liked my R1T color (Rivian Blue). They each said we need more cars with color. Couldn't agree more.

I dunno, I feel like if I was in the market for a mid-size EV (I'm not), I'd probably go with an EX60 Cross Country 🫢 The R2 will still be a great adventure vehicle and open up a new audience to the Rivian brand no doubt.
