Thanks to @EUROCAE1 for partecipating to our joint event "RPAS and AI in aviation" in Rome, where six @SESAR_JU exploratory research projects were presented to the audience with their latest developments 💪🏼
Artificial Intelligence (AI) explainability is one of the hottest themes still to be explored in aviation. And last week took place the “#RPAS and #AI in Aviation”, where #EUROCAE was invited to join as Board Advisor of two of the projects. ⬇️

They investigated three different levels of transparency: BlackBox (no explanation), Heatmap (a glimpse of all possibilities), Storyboard (showing the solution, but also what the controller should not do, like a narrative). They also studied #ATCOs with EEG.
