For a decade, the single biggest weakness of the opposition was the absence of a strong, assertive Congress at the heart of a united alliance.
Since 2014, Congress repeatedly made sacrifices for regional allies, accommodated competing ambitions, and put the larger fight for democracy above its own political interests. Yet, time and again, those sacrifices were rarely reciprocated.
That chapter is now over.
Today, the Indian National Congress stands revitalized, energized, and more determined than ever under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi. What many dismissed as a declining force has re-emerged as the principal challenger to the BJP, reconnecting with the people, setting the national narrative, and building momentum across the country.
The political winds are shifting. The BJP-led NDA is no longer facing a fragmented opposition; it is facing a resurgent Congress led by a relentless Rahul Gandhi who has refused to back down despite years of attacks, propaganda, and political adversity.
The writing is on the wall: 2029 is shaping up to be a defining battle, and the momentum is increasingly with Congress. If this trajectory continues, no amount of spin, diversion, or manufactured narratives will be enough to stop the growing demand for change. ЁЯдЮ
BJP should be careful
Because Rahul Gandhi has started playing well
He has brought back Cong into TN govt for first time since 1967 I think
If he manages to merge broken up regional parties into Cong ... he actually might start a Congress revival
Maybe India is moving towards 2 party system
