This Sunday, I will have the pleasure to present at the NeuroCine seminar at @TallinnUni Media & Arts School, organised by Elen Lotman and @TikkaPia with @filmeualliance. My talk will present how awe, a key emotional experience of modern mediated #storytelling, can exist in #VR.

There are so many ways to use immersive technologies: education, training, art, storytelling, etc... Experts at this webinar are here to present how they use VR, and I'm excited to share how I leverage the transformative potential of evidence-based experiences in my research.

Psychology at in CHI at Crumlin has partnered with Assim Kalouaz PhD candidate & Dr Brendan Rooney, Assoc Professor, Virtual Reality for Good in UCD to develop and implement Virtual Reality (VR) experiences with young people attending the hospital. Watch for more info ⤵️

just woke up to a former student asking me for a reference letter - which is new to me as a first-year PhD., and it feels very validating to think I had a positive impact on their experience as an undergrad ☀️ #phdchat #phdlife

Week 4/Day 4 at @CHIatCrumlin working with @AnneMarieCasey1 and Sarah Carroll. A lot of stuff going on, and a huge amount of information to absorb, but it is such a refreshing and enriching working experience to apply #VR in a paediatric clinical setting.

I tend to keep stuff to myself, but this is Twitter-worthy news, I'm so delighted to be part of the line-up and look forward to talking about #VR and the ways #research can inform the design of rich experiences.
