Ate lunch with the on-duty crew today. We sat and talked a lot about 9/11, New York City, FDNY, etc. After 9/11, we all promised that we would never forget. We must always keep that promise. #NeverForget #September11

#DCsBravest faced heavy fire conditions when they arrived at a 2 Alarm fire on Labor Day. Quick work strategically placing hose lines inside the structure led to a rapid knockdown of the flames, as shown in attached still photo taken shortly afterwards.
