🚨: Voyager 1 is now so far from Earth that a signal traveling at the speed of light takes 23 hours, 32 minutes and 35.444 seconds to reach it — so when engineers send a command, they can wait nearly two days to know whether the spacecraft responded.

It was visible around the world. The sunset conjunction of Jupiter (left) and Venus (right) in 2012 was visible almost no matter where you lived on Earth. Anyone on our planet with a clear western horizon at sunset could see them. That year, a creative photographer traveled away from the town lights of Szubin, Poland to photograph a near closest approach of the two planets. The bright planets were then separated by only three degrees and his daughter struck a humorous pose. A faint red sunset still glowed in the background. A closeup of Ganymede 📸 5 years ago today, NASA's Juno spacecraft flew within 645 miles of Jupiter's moon Ganymede. This flyby was the closest we had gotten to the largest moon in our solar system since a flyby by the Galileo spacecraft in 2000.

Look at the joy and fulfillment on the faces of the Shenzhou-21 crew! They just wrapped up an incredible seven-month mission aboard China's Tiangong Space Station, setting multiple new records in orbit. They have now arrived in Beijing and are undergoing physical recovery.

🚨💥La New Glenn de Blue Origin vient d’exploser lors d’un test d’allumage statique. Détruire le pas de tir est la pire chose qui puisse arriver. Cela va mettre un gros coup de retard sur leur participation pour le programme Artemis.
