Latest data from @NPEU_UKOSS and @mbrrace showing the clear evidence of real world protection from #COVID #vaccine in pregnancy and the hazards in the unvaccinated. More women have died in this wave of infection than either of the previous waves #preventable by vaccination

Note the change in advice regarding postnatal visits. Important to maintain the initial postnatal community visit face to face rather than over the telephone.

This call will enable our academic partners to provide additional evidence on the effect of ethnicity on the impact of Covid-19, including health and care professionals and other key workers. This is an important but complex question where research can help provide solutions.
The NIHR and @UKRI_News are jointly calling for research proposals to investigate emerging evidence of an association between ethnicity and #COVID19 incidence and adverse health outcomes: bit.ly/2XYPJK2 #PriorityCovidResearch

It is worrying to hear that children presenting to hospital later and therefore sicker. Please seek medical attention if: 1) your baby <3 months has a fever whether well/unwell 2) your baby is more sleepy than usual/not feeding/more jaundiced/dry nappies 3) non-blanching rash
