This whole Elon “trillionaire” conversation is depressing because it reveals how economically illiterate we are. A $1 trillion net worth does not mean Elon walked into a village, stole everyone’s bread, and locked it in a vault. In fact, he probably consumes fewer real-world resources than the average Hollywood climate activist screaming about him from a private jet-adjacent lifestyle. Elon built things people voluntarily use, and invested in companies that created massive value to billions of people. The collective quality of life of society has been elevated by this man’s work. He didn’t get handed a trillion dollars and start hoarding all the food, houses, and medicine. Elon is a contributor. Not a taker. Probably the biggest one alive. Which is why he’s worth $1 trillion and the people who don’t understand that are still yelling “fair share” into their iPhones.

Envy is the primary unconscious motivator of the human race. Bernie is the crab trying to pull Elon back into the boiling water. #Bitcoin weakens the pull of these parasites.

.@BernieSanders , it is a time to celebrate. @elonmusk has created enormous value for society by building @SpaceX, driving down the cost of rocket launches and creating a global satellite communication network that has brought high speed, low-cost internet and communication access to hundreds of millions and eventually billions of people along with critical advantages for our military and our nation’s defense. SpaceX and its technologies will cause an acceleration in the growth of wages and wealth creation globally, including in some of the poorest communities in the U.S. and around the world. Access to low-cost, high speed communications everywhere will allow children around the world to be educated, families to build businesses, and life-saving medical knowledge and care to be available everywhere. SpaceX will materially bring down the cost of compute, advancing AI and humanity. Meanwhile, 4,000 SpaceX employees yesterday became millionaires, including hourly wage employees who you claim you are trying to help. The Elon Musks of the world drive growth, global GDP, and provide access to goods and services at lower cost that would otherwise not exist. Elon’s nominal trillionaire status is due to his ownership of SpaceX, Tesla, Neuralink, the Boring Company and his other initiatives that have brought new technologies that improve our everyday lives. Elon is not sitting on a trillion dollar pile of cash, jewelry and gold. He is using his controlling stakes in his companies to advance mankind. Elon’s companies don’t pay dividends. They reinvest all of their capital to accelerate innovation and value creation. Elon is working 24/7 for all of us. He deserves respect and appreciation, not smears. Bernie, your socialism would never allow a SpaceX to be built. Socialism has only proven to impoverish mankind and lead to death and destruction. We need to create the conditions for more SpaceXs to be built, not attack the great entrepreneurs who are helping to advance our country.

Un an. L'option A soulage ta morale pendant 18 mois.

If the socialists had their way, Elon would have had his paypal profits taken and redistributed for the greater good. The world would never have seen Tesla, nor SpaceX. And the world wouldn't know it, because they were uncreated, and thus unseen. Imagine the companies that don't exist, because Washington destroyed them before they were born.

History's first trillionaire is a guy who catches rockets out of the sky with chopsticks and beams internet to every dead zone on the planet. Same guy ships cars that drive themselves, humanoid robots for the factory floor, brain chips that let paralyzed people move a cursor with pure thought, and an AI running on a supercomputer his team stood up in months instead of years. And the people crashing out about his net worth are doing it on the app he owns. The same app governments spent years trying to censor. You cannot legislate a rocket into orbit.

It's fascinating to watch all of these liberals crying about trillions without having ANY sense of the value creation and the REASONS Elon is worth what he's worth It's all just narratives and theater to divide people and get people to hate success and wealth creation so they spend their lives begging for handouts, pointing the finger blaming anything or anyone other than themselves, staying perpetually stuck in a victim mentality If you think higher taxes and wealth distribution is going to save you, you're already dead I could not support capitalism and the ability to become a trillionaire any harder

Elon is the number one most net positive human in the world, yet he may also be the most criticized. I guess that comes with the territory of being the richest man on Earth. Though, I can’t help but think that the world would be a much better place if we criticized the people who leech and contribute the least, instead of criticizing those who contribute the most.

Biggest IPO in history and it’s oversubscribed by 4X! Yet half the internet seems to think it’s a rugpull and will end the day down. 😂 I think the demand is just too high, I think it will end the day up. Grab your popcorn! Excitement is guaranteed!

I organized an intervention to stop Elon from starting SpaceX. Here is the story... Twenty five years ago, Elon and I sat in a car on a dark stretch of Long Island highway, two neurodiverse geeks staring at the night sky and wondering what came next. We had both experienced substantial exits and felt the weight of possibility ahead of us. When I joked about 'space' while gazing upward, neither of us imagined we were planting the seed for what would become the largest IPO in history. We spent the next two hours debating why space was so hard. In the end, rockets are fuel and metal. We also debated where to go, and it was crystal clear that Mars was the only real destination. Upon returning to NYC, we embarked on a global tour of space, meeting space agencies and luminaries worldwide. This opened our eyes to an industry stuck in bureaucratic thinking. If things continued at that pace, it was clear that we would never explore space in our lifetime. So, we launched Life to Mars to show the world that two ambitious young men (29 and 30 years old), could send life to Mars without any government backing or support. We planned to send and grow plants on Mars, though some were pushing us to send mice. We had a $50 MM budget that rested on our purchase of two Russian ICBMs for $7 MM each. We assumed one ICBM would fail, and we would learn and fix everything before launching again. When Elon went back to actually buy the ICBMs, the Russians tripled the price, bringing out launch costs from a total of $14 MM to $42 MM. Our ambitious Life to Mars plan was no longer viable. As you might imagine, Elon was not pleased. So, he decided to start SpaceX and create his own Mars rockets. Now, this is a crazy idea, both now and at the time, so I organized a large panel of top space experts, and we ambushed him at the Georgian Hotel one morning. It was set up like an intervention for an alcoholic, but for space. Elon looked me in the eye when leaving the room and said, "I am going to do this." The intervention failed. Elon was committed. The rest is history. I am excited to see this IPO after 25 years of hard work. What SpaceX has done is a testament to human will and overcoming insurmountable obstacles. It's nothing short of amazing. Congratulations, E. Amazing.

If @Tesla & @SpaceX merge, there will be a very intense shareholder vote to get this approved Here's my 2 cents & how I'm voting. Yes. Whatever Elon & management say is fair, is a yes from me. Why? Tesla & SpaceX are valued at roughly $1.5T & $1.75T respectively. If SpaceX buys Tesla (makes sense because of Elon's dual voting class shares), maybe they do it a ~20% premium to $1.5T and make it a 50/50 merger of equals. Tesla shareholders will complain about not getting compensated for @robotaxi success, @Tesla_Optimus, etc ... But the truth is, both companies are very similar in size with parrelel upside trajectories. Additionally, they are joined at the hip with Elon leading them both and the Terafab project. Tesla is a ~$100B revenue run-rate, barely growing, valued at nearly 20X sales in this merger... extremely high for a low gross margin company. Giving $TSLA arguably ~$1T of value based on future product lines that aren't material yet SpaceX is a $25B revenue run-rate company with @Starlink already 0 to 1 poised to hit a $30-40B revenue run-rate in the next 18 months. With MUCH HIGHER profitability than Tesla's current business. That means even thought Tesla has 4X the revenue of SpaceX, it's profitability is actually equal in size. When I look at the intrinsic earnings power ($15B of operating cashflow/yr) of Tesla & SpaceX they are actually very similar. With each of them spending all their operating cash flow and more on CAPEX for future projects (including @Xai in SpaceX). Each getting a very aggressive valuation based on future growth prospects. It's almost impossible to predict how the earnings/cashflow will evolve. Especially because a lot of it depends on accounting and how the Terafab/Optimi in Space is structured. Long story short, it's very complicated, and millions of hot take articles will be written about it ... but all in all, a merger of equals, or roughly that, looks fair to me. Another kicker to consider and why I'm voting yes. I trust Elon to do right by shareholders. $TSLA is up 34,687% since it's 2010 IPO, not bad. Tesla has a management team with a track record of making crazy ambitious goals and executing. They're vision for an intergalactic future gets even grander as a combined entity with SpaceX. Let them cook. Full disclaimer I'm a $TSLA & SpaceX investor.
