As a writer, I feel torn posting about politics. But BOOKS ARE POLITICAL, they either condone our society or criticise it, they can warn against where policies or idelogies might take us, and they can inspire us to fight back. That's why they get burned. #auspol #amwriting

In 1994, Ukraine gave up the 3rd largest nuclear weapons arsenal in exchange for security guarantees from the US, UK, and Russia.
First, Russia violated that agreement, and now the US has too. With friends like them, who needs enemies?
