Last night we completed The Book of Tawhid once again with Shaykh al-Fawzan’s explanation, Iʿanah al-Mustafid. The last time was in January 2016. Next, insha Allah, we will study The Book of Tawhid from Sahih al-Bukhari. Muhammad b. Abd al-Wahhab did not bring anything new. The same Tawhid he called to is found throughout the Quran, the Sunnah, and the writings of the early scholars. The issue was never merely the man. It is the message of Tawhid and the rejection of shirk that his enemies among the Sufis, the Shi’ah, and their allies despise.
