Happy nurses week!!! Especially to my favs in the ICUs who take care of me, make sure I’m fed and asked “do you want fluids?” when I was a scared intern dealing with my first really sick pt…(the answer was yes lol). I’m a better physician because of them 💕💕 #Nurses_Week2023

It’s a truth universally acknowledged that you will have zero consults all day and 5 min before your shift ends you’ll get one… #residentlife #consultettiquette

5: have relevant data ready. Understand enough of what ur asking them so u can have data handy. Calling cards cause pt had chest pain? What work up did u do before calling them? Do they have a recent echo? Have that info ready

These are just some things I have learned and try to apply after many failures. Figure out what works for you and ask other ppl their opinion. Feel free to add any other tips!
