Held at the close of #16DaysOfActivism that focused on ending digital violence, the forum created space for raw conversations on TFGBV and its emotional and mental toll on young women in leadership.
Ultimately, the convening reaffirmed that strengthening national and transnational solidarity among young women is essential and that collective power must be nurtured, protected, resourced, and sustained.

UG - GBV is an issue that affects both genders. We need #personnel of both genders to tackle both men and women cases. GBV requires both genders collaborating to end the vice. As we empower the girl child, the men need inclusion and empowerment to enable #collective#action.
Cindy (Youth Senate) - Psychosocial support necessary in the tackling of GBV. We need to collectively address the issue as a society. The causes should be identified holistically and tackled intentionally. #16DaysOfActivism2024#femicide#genderjustice#EndViolenceAgainstWomen
