When nearly 300 people jump into a Discord call, it’s not just hype, it’s signal. 77-Bit crushed the beta a few weeks ago on @AbstractChain, and what I’m hearing now makes me seriously bullish for the next few weeks. @Fanfaron is cooking, and the menu’s about to drop soon. Don’t fade a team that’s actually building and delivering! Are you paying attention yet?

Did you really think nothing would come after the beta? I think a lot of people have no idea how far @the77bit has already come. The beta was just the first step into the public eye — now the real journey begins. I think @AbstractChain has landed a strong contender for Crypto Game of the Year. Would be a win-win for both sides.

It's funny how people call the @the77bit quantum core mint a cash grab just because of the high mint cost. If they wanted to cash grab, they would have increased the supply, lowered the mint cost and significantly overallocated WLs AND not made it a soulbound NFT. They literally made the NFT extremely unattractive to mint for people who are not interested in playing the game seriously and people can call it a cash grab lol. I respect what @the77bit and @0xfanfaron are doing so far to keep farmers/scalpers and extractors out of the ecosystem, very few web3 projects have the guts to do this.

This is a long one... buckle up. @the77bit's beta might have only lasted a few weeks, but I feel like I have been playing the game every day since the team started ramping up marketing again for the beta back in September 2024. My goal for 77-Bit was never about being the best or having the most Bytes, it was about what stands at the core of the franchise for me: community. A community centered around a common love/nostalgia for gaming. There are many things in my life which have shaped who I am today, but one of them was undoubtedly my first MMORPG many years ago. Being able to reinvent myself in a new world and share this adventure with amazing friends I made along the way sounds cheesy af, but is one of my personal core memories. That is how 77-Bit made me feel again. • From the thousands of messages I have sent on Discord shitposting with fellow apes @0xmithril77 and @cosmicP3ar. • The dozens of campaigns I spent hours participating in. • All the games I played learning poker with the holders (shoutout @arizonyaa @Somchaidotavax @spacezilla7 @NFTRINITY12 @SolElengs) until my very first win. • Receiving my first feet pic (and sharing it with @Dadaaacutie) • Buying a lot more NFTs and finally joining the Legends chads. • Playing the very first Legends only playtest and discovering the insanely beautiful world made by the sweat, tears and blood of @BitBoromir. • Getting to see first hand how genuine @0xfanfaron is and how much he has been doing to share this game with the world. • Logging in every single one of the following playtests, diving as deep into that world as I could. • Getting inspired by Legend @kevzko_eth who was compiling all the quests in the game and instantly hitting it off sharing our info. • Spending countless hours rewatching myself play over and over when I had no game access. • Sharing, noting down and going full nerd on every single important detail of the game with Kevzko in a huge shared notion. • Going through hundreds of thousands of lines of client game files until I knew so much about the game I evolved into Wikireep. • Writing all of this information into multiple guides for other players. • Trying my best to constantly answer questions on Discord or in DMs. • Buying my new rare PFP from absolute OG chad @MooonRabbiit. • Playing the actual Beta for hours upon hours, fully immersing myself in this beautiful world (it had been a long time since I was happy to just be inside a game, not grinding but just enjoying being there). • Exploring all the hidden rooms in Byte City. • Listening to the amazing game soundtrack during every waking hour. • Spending a ridiculous amount of time trying to reach the top of the Arcade leaderboards. • Starting the huge project of building tools and the beginning of the community wiki with my amazing teammate Kevzko to help others have a smoother game experience. • Being the number 1 fan of biggest Abstract streamer, fellow lowball biddor and my new troll brother @locodreamer1391 And most importantly, getting to make all these friends through 77-Bit. On top of all the previous mentions, from hanging out in voice chat with legends (adding @AxKrono @Bloo__Blue @dte_zero @BrightAvian @genape_ @TalkDegenToMe to the already outrageous amount of tags in this post) or from friendly banter with fellow passionate gamers (@miguel_gayo @Hermecles @X3ik0_ @cryptoblazen...) and many more. Boromir and Fanfaron (and the Analog team) built a game that had me playing before it was even released. Because they have this passion themselves. Because they know what unites a community around a game. And because they pulled it off. Showing the whole world with this fraction of their vision that was the beta what a true MMORPG is and how it should make you feel. This is just the beginning. Been seeing feedback on monetization, bugs, and priorities, so I wanted to clarify a few things: We’ve spent 3 years building this and are doing everything we can to make it last. This Beta is a crucial step toward launching the full game. A few quick, but important truths: 1. Skill Reset pricing was discussed with core players. It’s meant to be a commitment, not a reset button every time you’re stuck. That was never the intention behind the design. 2. Darknet cartridges are meant to help new players speed up their first Darknet run after hitting level 30. The best weapons still come from free in-game rewards. 3. Dungeon ticket drop rate was supposed to be fixed. It wasn’t. I pushed for 3 days and thought it was done. That’s on me. You can check the receipts on Discord. It’s being fixed today. 4. We’re not trying to squeeze players. The best rewards come from playing, not paying. We’re game first, always. 5. The devs are shipping fast and barely sleeping. Some priorities got misaligned, we’re adjusting. IF this Beta is a success, we have a real shot at launching something that redefines crypto gaming and the overall genre of MMORPGs. I hope this message reaches as far and as wide on CT. CT is 90% noise and extraction accounts. @0xfanfaron and @BitBoromir are very very few people in this space that you WANT to throw you money at and support. They stood test of time and deserve to get 20x the funding(mints, revenues)they need to deliver final version. If you support this team and they succeed you will be REWARDED heavily. But most people in this space rather gamble to get rich overnight 🤷‍♂️. By complaining, bitching and fudding work that great web2 game directors like @BitBoromir are doing in web3 you collectively set back space years. You SHOULD be trying to RETAIN and ATTRACT web2 talent to web3. Not push them away. Ride or die. Retardio.
