Thank you President @officialABAT, @abikedabiri and @biancaojukwu Recall that the abysmal conditions of Nigerians in Ethiopian prisons had been of serious concerns years back. @nidcom_gov swung into action and tackled this extensively under the leadership of its Executive Chairman and CEO @abikedabiri (Hon. Abike Dabiri Erewa) and the then Chairman Senate Committee on Diaspora Senator Victor Umeh since 2022. It is heartwarming to note that the govt President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has finally signed an MoU with its Ethiopian counterpart for the exchange of prisoners. With this, about 100 Nigerians in Ethiopia incriminated (mostly for drug related offenses) will return home while any Ethiopian in Nigerian prison will also be released to Ethiopian govt. This prisoners swap is a great milestone that needs to be applauded. With the visit of the Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bianca Ojukwu , the prisoners will now start to return home like the evaluation of Nigerians in South Africa. Here is a list of the Nigerians in Ethiopian prison. @abdullahayofel @mrlurvy @fattylincorn_01 @woye1 @badru75 @Honorarygrandma @NGRPresident @PBATMediaCentre @DOlusegun @Omoola2021 @SAsekome @JohnFanimokun

This post is one of the few really important questions we should be asking ourselves and one to make deliberate efforts to intellectually interrogate. Reading the CS, and it appears a large % of comments want to heap the blame on the govt ๐Ÿ’ฏ percent. Govt should not be blamed as the sole reasons why we don't have a thriving fishing industry with thousands of trawlers on the ocean. If we don't have a Fintech like Moniepoint today and the question - why don't we have a small loan app in Nigeria - was asked, instead of fish; folks would blame govt like in the CS. Yet we have Moniepoint today because one person saw the vision, sought the funding and implemented.
How come it is cheaper to catch fish in China, freeze it in China, transport it frozen down to Lagos, Nigeria, clear it frozen, truck it frozen to Onitsha, truck it frozen to Ikot Ekpene --- than to catch it it Oron and sell it in Ikot Ekpene?

This is a truly heartbreaking ๐Ÿ’” video of a partially blind father struggling to survive with his children after life dealt him a devastating blow. Three years ago, his wife left him and their family to marry another man, leaving him to shoulder the burden of raising the children alone despite his visual impairment and extreme financial hardship. Today, he lives in abject poverty, doing his best to care for his children while battling a condition that continues to affect his sight. I may not have the reach to make a significant difference, but I believe someone on this timeline does. Please help by retweeting and sharing this post so it can reach kind-hearted people willing to support him. He urgently needs help to secure decent accommodation, provide for his children, and get proper medical attention for his eyes. May this post reach those whom God has positioned to be a source of relief for this family. May their tears be replaced with joy, and may help come from unexpected places. ๐Ÿ™โค๏ธ

Troops of the Joint Task Force (North East) Operation HADIN KAI have rescued 360 abductees, including women and children, from a major JAS terrorist stronghold in the Mandara Mountains of southern Borno State. The operation, carried out by Special Forces and Sector 1 troops, followed weeks of detailed intelligence gathering, surveillance, and strategic planning. Using a combination of human intelligence, signals intelligence, and aerial reconnaissance, the military identified the exact location of the hostages and mapped the terroristsโ€™ defensive positions. Intelligence operatives also successfully infiltrated the insurgent network, providing critical information that helped shape the rescue mission. Acting on confirmed intelligence, troops launched a coordinated multi-directional assault that achieved complete surprise, forcing many terrorists to flee while others surrendered. The operation led to the safe recovery and evacuation of all 360 captives, many of whom had been abducted from communities around the Ngoshe axis. Sadly, two infants died from exhaustion due to the harsh conditions of their prolonged captivity and the difficult mountainous terrain during the rescue. The successful mission highlights OPHKโ€™s growing operational effectiveness and commitment to protecting civilians in the North East.

He who has an ear should listen very well and take to advice
This is the last time I will say this here. I have seen many homes in Ajah are now for sale. If you know what is good for you and your generation, get a good surveyor, before you buy houses anywhere around Ajah. If possible, use your bank to buy it. Let them do the due diligence for you. I wonโ€™t say more than this.

Some cabals are afraid of PBAT's re-election and they are desperate. If a man who is facing re-election can damn the consequences of politics unlike his predecessors to remove subsidy, break the BDC black market racketeering, NNPC 100% remittance to FAAC ( these 3 items were the biggest heist against the Nigerian economy and its citizens ) He is pushing to disrupt the politics at the local level with LG Autonomy that will empower LG and stop them from being stooges of governors. States Police, a decentralised security architecture with the establishment of Police Academies and Army Depots in different regions. Tax reform and internal sharing of VAT to favour Derivation. Wealth should be distributed to align more with where it is derived. Creation of other regional development commissions. No President has been bold enough to tackle these issues since 1999. "What will he do when he is not facing re-election" ?

This generation wouldn't understand this tweet. While growing up,you can't even be bold enough to tell your parents you're dating xyz. A lady introducing a man to her dad first will determine how far the guy is willing to go if he eventually agrees to seeing the dad
As a lady, would you let your dad know before dating a guy, or seek his opinion? The way a man treats you in a relationship often depends on how he perceives your father. Boyz no dey send mama, and mothers are most times partners in crime, yielding to their daughter's sentiments or after collecting Bournvita. The problem is that most women would never let their dad know who they are seeing until it's time for introduction, if they don't break up. Your father should know all your exes.
