After months of speaking with professionals in trials, a key takeaway: intersectionality is poorly understood and hard to implement. While inclusion is vital, we need simpler, practical ways to apply intersectionality in trials. More insights to come! #ICTMC2024 #ClinicalTrials

Intersectionality is a “buzz” word I’ve heard mentioned by many at @HSRN_UK, however it still feels like there is a long way to go to truly understand it’s impact in health services and research.
My PhD work will hopefully be one small step in the right direction!
