We stand united against the relocation of domestic league games abroad.
4 years after the super league, football faces a new existential threat.

ALT We, supporters’ groups from across Europe, representing millions of football fans, express our firm opposition to the ongoing attempt to subvert the rules of the game by allowing leagues to relocate games elsewhere around the world.
The latest efforts to disrupt the nature of European football with La Liga and Serie A trying to relocate games to the United States and Australia are a direct attack on the essence of football.
Should either of these leagues’ proposals be allowed to go ahead, it would instantly open a Pandora’s box with unpredictable and irreversible consequences. Every club, every national team, every fan base globally would be at risk of seeing the team they love taken away from them, relocated to another part of the world, for one game or more. Or see other countries’ competitions knock on their door, just as La Liga and Serie A’s presence would disrupt domestic football and fan culture in the United States and Australia.
Football is based on a set of rules and p
ALT Clubs are neither entertainment companies nor traveling circuses. They exist for the benefit of their communities and provide a sense of belonging, where fans have been attending home games for generations. Breaking this vital bond, even temporarily, would undermine the cultural, social, and local roots that give our game its meaning.
The concept of flying players, staff, fans, and others across oceans for a “home” game is absurd, unaffordable, and environmentally irresponsible. It goes against European football’s stated commitment to sustainability and accessibility for all. It risks surrendering our clubs and our leagues to the will of entertainment companies, dictatorships, or vulture funds, whose interests in taking European football away from its home go against the very fabric of our sport.
Four years after European football stood united and defeated the super league, we are facing a similar existential threat. We invite fans, players, media, governments, and football officia

Hallo @bpol_koblenz !

@FIFAcom is ignoring fans with disabilities who want to back their team at the @FIFAWorldCup.
Here are some of their voices.
ALT A quote from Jo McNicol, England supporter,
FSE Disability & Inclusion Fan Network
Member, speaking about the FIFA World Cup 2026 ticket prices: "I booked my flights and transport for the upcoming World Cup as soon as we were able to. I wasn’t successful in the first two ballots and at no point did I need to tell them I need wheelchair seats. I found it very strange they didn’t ask for this or allow you to advise you wanted accessible seating. FIFA are allowing anyone to purchase a wheelchair space. I also found wheelchair tickets on the resale platform at a high price with only one space and no seat for a personal assistant (companion). I can’t travel to games without someone helping me. The companion seat is needed for me to be able to attend safely.”
ALT A quote from Piotr Czarnota, Poland supporter,
FSE Disability & Inclusion Fan Network
Member, speaking about the FIFA World Cup 2026 ticket prices: "For 12 years I’ve had the honor of following my national team, Poland, as a supporter. During that time I’ve been to four tournaments both European Championships and World Cups. Until now I’ve never had any problems purchasing tickets or organising my travel and accommodation. Although Poland’s qualification for the World Cup will only be decided in March, I can already say that the proposed ticket costs are shockingly high from my perspective. Planning a barrier-free trip, booking accessible accommodation and having an assistant attend matches with me are essential if I am to take part in this football event. Unfortunately, the current challenges related to ticket accessibility and pricing are making the prospect of attending this celebration of football increasingly unrealistic.”
ALT A quote from Jon Attenborough, Scotland supporter,
FSE Disability & Inclusion Fan Network
Member, speaking about the World Cup 2026 accesibility tickets: "It’s absolutely disgraceful. It just shows FIFA’s complete lack of consultation with disabled fans and their representative groups. Charging full price for an extra adult ticket will have a devastating impact on disabled supporters and their ability to afford attending the World Cup.”
ALT A quote from Alberto Alaiz, Spain supporter,
FSE Disability & Inclusion Fan Network
Member, speaking about the World Cup 2026 accessibility ticket prices: "Since its inception, football has been founded on the bond between players and supporters. Without the fans, modern football is reduced to little more than a casual kickabout. Yet while FIFA proudly announces the expansion of the World Cup, it simultaneously prices supporters out with tickets affordable only to the wealthy. If the experience is already costly and challenging for the average fan, it is even more prohibitive for those of us with disabilities."
Don't be fooled by @FIFAcom's PR spin to cover its tracks. The reality of the 60 USD tickets barely makes a difference.
Take England vs Croatia. Approx. 1% of the fans in the Dallas Stadium will have 60USD tickets via their NAs. That's about 800 from 70.000 . FIFA must do more.
ALT Infographic by Football Supporters Europe illustrating FIFA World Cup 2026 ticket pricing. Titled ‘The Real Extent of FIFA’s 60 USD Ticket U-Turn’, it uses an England vs Croatia group match example at Dallas Stadium. A dense grid of small human icons represents stadium capacity, showing that only a very small proportion of fans would have access to USD 60 tickets, while the vast majority would pay at least USD 265. Flags of England and Croatia and an explanatory legend are included.
While FSE welcomes @FIFAcom's announcement, it still falls significantly below the standards for int'l. tournaments.
1. Only 10% of PMA allocation in lowest category
2. Too big a gap between categories
3. Fans with disabilitites are still being ignored
ALT FSE on latest fifa world cup 2026 ticket price announcement
Following significant pressure from supporters, FIFA has partially relented on its ticket price structuring. This shows that FIFA’s ticketing policy is not set in stone, was decided in a rush, and without proper consultation – including with FIFA’s own member associations. While we welcome FIFA’s seeming recognition of the damage its original plans were to cause, the revisions do not go far enough to reconcile. Based on the allocations publicly available, this would mean that at best a few hundred fans per match and team would be lucky enough to take advantage of the 60 USD prices, while the vast majority would still have to pay extortionate prices, way higher than at any tournament before.
There’s also still the question of supporters with disabilities, as no new pricing structure has been announced for them and complementary companion tickets still seem to be absent. For the moment we are looking at the FIFA announcement

The full picture: The number of $60 tickets per match is limited. Close to around 1,000 total per game (split between the two teams), depending on stadium size (most venues hold 60,000–80,000 ). Additionally, the resell structure do not protect fans. Only benefits FIFA.

Die FIFA muss zerschlagen werden.
We’ve written to @FIFAcom President Gianni Infantino to warn #WorldCup2026 ticket prices will exclude fans with disabilities.
High prices, charging for companions, & unchecked resales without price limits will cut them out. FIFA must act on this now.

The @FIFAWorldCup $60 ticket is a mythical creature that is said to inhabit the @FIFA office in Miami. Popular interest and belief in the creature has varied since it was brought to worldwide attention in September 2025. Evidence of its existence remain anecdotal.
ALT Illustration of a sea-monster-like creature rising from a calm lake, holding up an oversized yellow ticket that reads “60,00$ FIFA World Cup” with a barcode and a red tournament icon. The creature’s long, green, scaly neck curves out of the water, with another part of its body visible in the background. Mountains and clouds frame the scene, giving the image a surreal, humorous commentary on expensive World Cup tickets.
Just remembering how keen fifa were for initial reporting of ticket prices for this World Cup to include how tickets were starting at $60 - how many of those even existed?

The quote reads: "We remain extremely concerned by the all-round lack of clarity and the profit-driven approach that has guided FIFA until now. Never in the history of the tournament have fans been expected to take such huge financial risks to follow their team with such little certainty on what to expect in return. FIFA should lead by example and set clear pricing guidelines to reassure fans and acknowledge their contribution to the game. FIFA had full control over this and yet made a conscious decision to set record high prices. It also must ensure all fans are safe and feel welcome when attending. It's still not too late for FIFA to do right by all attending the tournament." The FSE logo is in the corn
