President Trump has tweeted comparing influenza to coronavirus, saying sometimes over 100,000 people a year die from flu in the US. But @CDCgov estimates show there have been no years in the last decade with that many deaths. The most was 61,000 for the 2017/18 flu season.

Boris Johnson said in a TV interview that people told to self-isolate would get: "£500 if you do, per week". That's wrong. The Test and Trace Support Payment of £500 - for those on lower incomes in England who have to self-isolate - is a one-off lump sum not a weekly payment.
