REVEALED: MI6 ran a molehunt in the 1990s after a CIA lead that the Russians had recruited an MI6 officer. Fears were of 'another Philby'. The hunt went on for years and was ultimately labelled 'inconclusive'. More details in the "The Spy in the Archive" - out in the UK next week

People’s Daily has a report today on how knitted covers have been put around iron bars in central Harbin “to stop tourists from licking the iron… out of curiosity”, and then getting their tongues stuck. Harbin is popular this time of year for its snow/ice festival.
