Still the funniest thing is when Anderson Cooper had E. Jean Carroll on CNN to talk about her very serious trauma and lawsuit and she blurted out "I think rape is sexy!" and he immediately cut to commercial and she was gone when he came back and she's never appeared on that network again.

She has never filed a single police report. She can’t “remember” basic details and comes across as completely unhinged in interviews.

But you are being insanely obtuse by pretending “no one would ever lie in a deposition” is a realistic statement.
There is no practical risk to being charged with perjury by saying “yeah, she told me that 30 years ago.”
It’s an unfalsifiable claim, and any lawyer trying to win that lawsuit knows that. Nor does telling a friend something happened mean it happened.
You believe her because you want to believe her, not because anything about her is especially convincing or there aren’t giant holes in her claims.
