While there have been noteworthy accomplishments in 2018, we have a lot of work ahead. In Oct., the @NJHCQI released a study showing that health care costs in NJ have continued to climb. 2019 must focus on more ways to lower these costs for all New Jerseyans.

Thanks to everyone who answered! The answer is B, Massachusetts. Before the ACA’s individual mandate, MA introduced the concept in 2006 under then-Gov. Mitt Romney. It was lauded as a national model for increasing enrollment and lowering health insurance costs.
After federal cuts in funding for advertising enrollment, @bcbcnj stressed how advertising leads to higher enrollment & lower costs. This year, the @GovMurphy admin. announced $450,000 would be dedicated to outreach & advertisements for health insurance enrollment.
NJ has already begun to benefit from the individual mandate and out of network legislation. These two laws will lead to a 9.3% premium decrease in individual market prices in 2019. Click here to learn more information: bit.ly/2Ctro6b
