Today, I delivered the Mattox Lecture in the Michael E. DeBakey @BCM_Surgery named after a son of Lebanese immigrants who became the greatest ❤️ surgeon in the world.
Today another Lebanese son stood at that podium.
A pinnacle moment in any trauma surgeon's career and today it was mine🙏

Dr. Kevin Chun-Sing Huang, assistant professor of surgery in the Division of Abdominal Transplantation, presented at yesterday’s grand rounds on “Machine Perfusion of the Cadaveric Allograft.” His talk explored machine perfusion in pediatric liver transplantation, surgical techniques and patient outcomes.
