In this era of corporate greed and union busting, management seems to hold all the cards. Except for the most important ones: Unity; Solidarity; Fraternity. All of us win when the writers win. And we will win. Union! Strike! #wgastrike #UnionStrong #Succession @jessearmstrong1

I was fortunate enough to get a private screening of the film, Killers of the Flower Moon earlier this month. Having been marginally released from my NDA with the premiere of the film today at Cannes, I have a few thoughts.

OK House members can't face the censure of those they intend to harm, and when @RepMaureeTurner acts with humanity, the OK House attempts to silence them. This is inexcusable and embarassing.
The House is voting on a censure of @MaureeTurnerOK. They are censuring them for hiding someone wanted for questioning last week following a trans rights activist pouring water on a rep and slapping a trooper. The censure is expected to pass #OkLeg

There has never been a day in which I have felt more disgust watching #okleg. This is yet another attempt to silence @MaureeTurnerOK and all trans Oklahomans. Rep. Turner will be stripped of all committee assignments unless they give a public apology to state troopers.

We are damn fortunate to have Rep @MaureeTurnerOK in the Oklahoma legislature. They are unfailingly brave and regularly stand up for what is right in the face of constant discrimination from their fellow house members. Bravo Rep Turner!
Right now the House is debating ahead of a vote to censure Rep Turner, for refusing to allow troopers to harass a trans person during a panic attack after having watched troopers attack their partner after an emotional response to a bill attacking their access to healthcare.

I don’t want to raise my daughters in Oklahoma. This state is hostile to so many people I love. Don’t invest here, don’t bring your business here, don’t make Oklahoma your home. It isn’t safe.

We have a real chance at replacing him on November 8. Please, for all our sake, vote him out next month, and make Oklahoma a little bit safer for my family and yours. kosu.org/politics/2022-09-26…

Coming back to note that this legislative session has somehow found new ways to make Oklahoma a fresh hell for everyone. Transphobia hurts us all.

Some of you may have begun to see news and videos from the OK Capitol that show a trans person being slammed to the ground by a trooper and arrested after an emotional day in which the legislature directly attacked their ability to survive in this state.
