So another weekend with no rugby. I appreciate there has been a bit of rain but what hope do you have of your pitches draining when they run in to a brook owned by @AnglianWater that haven't been dredge for 40 years and looks like this after the slightest rainfall

Thursday's weather forecast gave me hope that we may get some rugby on this weekend.
Then this happened!
Will it arrive, who knows, but as a precaution youth chairman has made the right (in my mind) decision to cancel.@BillericayRFC@Billericaybees
Nothing I could do to get the game on this weekend. @AnglianWater Willowbrook is blocked yet again. Haven't seen a contractor at the club for a while. Never seen the floodwash field like this. Water flowing over the banks. Another weekend of lost earnings for @BillericayRFC
Thank goodness for a dry 48 hours. Managed to get @BillericayRFC@Billericaybees pitches slit and marked before non stop rain till Christmas Eve according to @bbcweather.
We've a full mini and youth programme on Sunday. Hopefully not too much damage will ensue!
Haven't posted in an age, but the work still goes on.
It's been a tough winter @BillericayRFC with plenty of rain and pitch used 6 days/evenings a week. Nearly at the finish line and pitch renovations by @ParkersPitches being booked in.
Post hole soak aways a low spot on the training pitch
14 x 1m deep 4" holes filled with 20mm shingle, topped with 70/30 sport mix
Will throw some seed, but being used 6 days a week, I'm not holding much hope it'll grow

Looks like the @OriginAmenity Delta fertiliser has definitely kicked in.
Both pitches groomed, cut, and marked today just before the 🌧🌧🌧 and training tonight.
First blocks of the season cut in this morning.
The training pitch needs attention, and I'm a bit concerned it'll not get through the season at the moment.
