Stop patching a system that doesn’t work. Here is the right solution, make non-contending teams compete for these picks. This is how you create an actual in-season tournament that matters, not these guys get $500K so they want the cup. Here is the solution: based on prior season standings plus the teams that didn’t make semifinals and beyond in the playoffs, these teams play an in-season tournament for the top four picks. Then in that season they get those picks. This would eliminate tanking and make an actual fun competition for the first half of the season. You’re welcome @heyadamsilver @NBA
