If you fly, we can’t! Drones near wildfires are dangerous and can shut down firefighting operations.
When unauthorized drones are in the area, fire managers must ground all aircraft — including helicopters and airtankers needed to slow the fire’s spread. This puts firefighters, communities, and public lands at greater risk.
Only authorized aircraft are allowed near wildfires. By keeping your drone grounded, you help wildland firefighters do their jobs safely and effectively. Protect those who protect Arizona’s public lands — don’t fly near wildfires.
