We welcome the launch of the SAS Eligibility & Permanency Framework.
Agreed through the 2024 pay deal, it provides a structured route for eligible locally employed doctors to transition to permanent SAS contracts, recognising those already working at this level.

Practices in England are being asked to take part in a further action, alongside ongoing action on data sharing agreements.
This monthās action asks practices to remove or ignore non-contractual medicines optimisation software, which may fall outside of the remit of the ICB.
