Isaac Holden (1807-97) was a inventor & textile manufacturer who had factories in & around #Bradford. He invented the Square Motion & the Holden wool-combing machines. As seen in these paintings we have of him, he had a top-notch beard throughout his life. #WorldBeardDay🧔 - LP
