As part of the 62nd Foundation Day celebrations of BOIOA Mumbai & Goa Unit, we celebrated this special occasion not just by remembering our journey, but by sharing happiness and hope with the families who are an integral part of our larger BOI family. An educational support initiative was organized yesterday at Head Office, Mumbai, for the children of our Facility Management and Housekeeping Staff. Educational essentials were distributed to around 150 students studying from 1st to 10th Standard, while three meritorious students were awarded scholarships of ₹11,000 each. Graced by the presence of our esteemed Executive Directors and senior executives, the initiative reflected the true spirit of BOIOA — service, inclusiveness, social responsibility, and standing together as one family. The smiles on the faces of children and proud parents reminded us that the greatest celebrations are those that create opportunities and inspire dreams. On this 62nd Foundation Day, these moments made our celebrations truly meaningful. Sharing a small video to cherish and preserve these beautiful memories. Warm Regards, Nilesh Pawar

As a part of the 62nd Foundation Day celebrations of BOIOA Mumbai Goa Unit, we were privileged to undertake a meaningful social initiative aimed at supporting the education of children belonging to our Facility Management Staff, Housekeeping Staff and Casual Labour workforce. Similar to the programme organized at Headoffice, we also undertook the noble activity at *Mumbai South Zonal Office, where more than 50 children of Housekeeping Staff and Casual Labourers were provided educational essentials.* The distribution was carried out in the gracious presence of *FCGM Shri Sunil Sharma Ji, General Managers Shri Lokesh Krishna Ji and Shri Manoj Kumar Ji, Mumbai South Zonal Manager Shri Madhukar Ji, Navi Mumbai Zonal Manager Shri Birendra Gupta Ji, Deputy General Managers Shri Mangesh Kadam Ji and Shri Jai Narayan Ji, Deputy Zonal Managers Shri Markad Dinkar Kamath Ji and Shri Rajesh Lamba Ji,* along with other distinguished dignitaries. *We humbly place on record that this social initiative carried out at both the places ensured that more than 200 children were benefitted.* The true spirit of trade unionism extends beyond representing employees at the workplace. It lies equally in fostering compassion and social responsibility. *The smiles on the faces of these young children reaffirmed our belief that even small efforts can make a meaningful difference in shaping brighter futures.* I sincerely thank all dignitaries, office-bearers, volunteers and members who contributed towards making this initiative a grand success. Let us continue to uphold the rich traditions of our Association by serving not only our members but also the larger society around us. With warm regards, Nilesh Pawar

A very pertinent observation by @TamalBandyo ji. Transparency in promotions is not merely an HR ideal—it is central to morale, credibility, and institutional integrity. When processes lack clarity and uniformity, it inevitably impacts motivation and trust at all levels. As stakeholders in the system, we strongly believe that well-defined, objective, and transparent promotion frameworks are essential for sustaining both performance and fairness in all PSBs. This is an area that deserves serious, system-wide introspection and reform. @aiboc_in

Dear @Pramod_Shinde09 Thank you for the swift action taken by team AIBOC MS-1 in pursuing the matter with the police authorities. Such timely intervention and coordination with all comrades on the ground is highly appreciable. Attacks on bank officials performing their official duties are extremely condemnable, and it is reassuring to see the strong and united response to ensure protection of our officers and strict action against the culprits. Appreciate the efforts of the entire team and the solidarity shown by all units. We stand firmly together in safeguarding the dignity and safety of bank officials.
An unfortunate and serious incident occurred when officials from ARB and Shirgaon Branch Bank Of India under Ratnagiri Zone were visiting an NPA borrower for recovery follow-up. During the visit, the borrower along with his associates violently attacked the bank officials and the bank’s vehicle using an iron rod, causing damage to the vehicle. The situation turned extremely hostile; however, the bank officials acted with presence of mind and managed to escape from the spot, thereby avoiding any injuries. Taking serious note of this incident, AIBOC Maharashtra State (MS-1) has immediately taken up the matter with the authorities. A formal representation has been submitted to the Superintendent of Police (SP) requesting strict and immediate action against the culprits and to ensure protection to bank officials performing their duties. 📄 Com. Satam, Com. Kishor Rodi, Com. Brajesh Mallick, Com. Shravika Vani, Com. Rakesh Kumbhare, Com. Sanket Ingale, Com. Sidhartha Waghmare, Com. Rushikesh, and Com. Kiran promptly coordinated on the ground. 🤝 Representatives from all the banks under the banner of AIBOC MS-1 extended their solidarity and actively supported the efforts to ensure that appropriate legal action is taken. ⚖️ We also received strong support and cooperation from the Ratnagiri and Kolhapur Zonal Office, which helped in taking timely and appropriate steps in the matter. 🙏 Under the guidance of Com. Nileshji, the issue was immediately pursued with the local administration and police authorities. An FIR has been lodged under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and other applicable laws, and we are closely monitoring the developments to ensure that strict action is taken against the accused. 🔍 AIBOC strongly condemns such attacks on bank officials who are public servants performing their duty of safeguarding public money. 🛡️ We remain united and committed to pursuing the matter until justice is ensured and the safety and dignity of bank officials are protected. @aiboc_ms1
