Quote retweet with four projects you've worked on. Here are the (only) four full-fledged games in my career thus far!

Almost deactivated my Twitter account today, due to two-factor authentication changes. The app freaked me out by trying to disable it altogether, when it really should have helped me migrate to an authenticator app. Seems very irresponsible to default to reduced security.

Nope. The economics of the $60 price tag for what are now nine figure budgets are too risky, and the margins become too thin. Corporations exist to make money, yes, but if you aren’t making healthy margins to offset the titles that fail, you end up shuttering studios.
"AAA videosgame need to raise their prices, or we're gonna keep having microtransactions and lootboxes" Nope. No they don't. It doesn't work that way at all. If AAA companies raise the base price of their games to $70 or $80, they'll still tack on predatory monetisation.

Stayed up far too late playing @wildermyth last night. Randomized story elements drive the campaign, character growth, and other game mechanics. Made for a very compelling adventure with characters I actually cared about! Attn: @DrewKarpyshyn @PatrickWeekes @NikFromEarth

Advice for aspiring game writers.
Someone asked me recently about breaking into the video game industry as a writer / narrative designer. There's so, so much good advice out there that I only tend to hit this topic on rare occasion. But it's been a while, so let's go!

@ZenOfDesign @wwallace and my other SWTOR co-workers started a cast of characters for a "Saturday Morning Cartoon" that teaches about game dev pitfalls, which I continued after moving to Epic. Had these four characters on the whiteboard behind my desk for quite a while... (1/5)
