What a week in New York City. We weathered one of the biggest snowstorms in decades, but it did not slow us down.
On Tuesday, Skyline’s President, Scott Powell, attended the book launch for The Optimists by distinguished Grace Church School teacher,
@BPlatzer, at The Great Hall at Cooper Union. Mr. Platzer was introduced by the incredibly talented Sarah Jessica Parker, followed by a reception at Grace Church High School in Greenwich Village, where Scott’s daughter Caitlyn Powell is a proud 2025 graduate.
On Wednesday, Scott represented Skyline in meeting with Stacey Mueller, Director of Development at
@RiceUniversity, to discuss philanthropic support for the University’s continued expansion, including its recently launched undergraduate business program, where his daughter Alena Powell is currently a junior majoring in Finance.
That evening, Scott attended a violin performance at The Down Town Association by award-winning soloist Claire Edwards.
The week concluded at the
@OTCMarkets Australia Investor Day Conference in New York, reconnecting with colleagues and friends including Matthew Liteplo, Stephen Shipley, and Robert Power.
A week defined by leadership, education, philanthropy, culture, and capital markets engagement.
