In 1948, Ijlil al-Qibliyya became the 1st & biggest Israeli concentration & forced labour camp where Palestinian men over 15 were taken following the colonization of their villages. Operating for 11 months, it included over 200 tents. Prisoners were starved, tortured, & killed.3/

Israel's ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in the occupied West Bank is state policy, not the work of a few "extremist" Jewish settlers. Canada's sanctions on individual settlers and organizations are pathetically inadequate. aljazeera.com/news/2026/6/10…

These stories happen too frequently, but get so little attention. Police are over-arresting peaceful protestors - knowing the charges won’t stick. It’s part of a greater, strategic campaign to derail or incapacitate the movement. We talk about this A LOT on @BPofDisruption
ACQUITTAL & WITHDRAWAL On November 10, 2024, and again on May 17, 2025, my client, David Shultz, was arrested at Palestine solidarity protests in Toronto. The past week saw both prosecutions collapse - one through a withdrawal, and the other through an acquittal after trial.

“They have a container that acts like the beating room, and when you pass through it, you just get beaten,” he said. “Some people got their ribs broken; I suspected a collapsed lung.” “I would go back again if needed,” he said. “I feel relieved to be back with my family, and privileged that I didn’t get to go through so much pain and horror that Palestinians had to go through every day of their lives.” “I feel privileged that I get to see my family and my family gets to see me alive, which most Palestinian children do not get to see.”
